The $600,000 Industrial Revitalization Grant will be utilized for the redevelopment of the Historic Planters Tobacco Warehouse that is currently in severe disrepair. The Lenhart family (current owners of the Planters Warehouse) have agreed to partner with Mr. Dave McCormick, president of Waukeshaw Development, Inc. and with the Clarksville EDA in a 2.88 million dollar redevelopment project transforming and preserving part of the 1840’s historic structure into a commercial store front and high-end apartments.
